Caridon foundation
Green fingered individuals required accross 2 residential buildings in Crawley
4 hours per week any day or days available with expenses and travel costs covered
We are looking to restart our previous residents gardening club and put back the love into the neglected and overgrown vast raised beds surrounding the buildings and the pond area. Ideally someone that encourage the residents to join in an be part of the gardening community.
Funding will be provided for vegetables, plants, shrubs and seeds required
The majority of the tenants were previously street homeless or fleeing domestic violence, so this would suit a person that is non judgemental and has patience or experience of homelessness and mental health themselves.
We would like the food and plants we grow to be used back in the local community in some capacity to give back ie to food banks
