The Crawley Friends Housing Association (CFHA) is a charity which provides temporary accommodation and support at ‘Camfield’ for 24 homeless people in Crawley, West Sussex. We are a small charity with a BIG mission. Camfield has operated for over 50 years as a staging post to enable people to re-build confidence, find future accommodation, and acquire the skills to live independently.
We are recruiting Volunteer Trustees to complement the existing team to provide expertise, oversight, and support to our organisation. We are particularly seeking candidates with experience in leading and managing charities , fundraising, building/facilities management and supporting people with housing needs. If you have experience in these areas or have more general interest, bringing your passion and expertise to our voluntary board will help us to deliver our mission to support people in the community when they need it the most.
We welcome applications from both experienced Trustees and those taking their first step at the board level. We especially encourage applications from minority ethnic candidates and members of the LGBTQ+ community to bring diverse perspectives to our board.
