Hospital Exercise Support Volunteer

We are looking for Exercise Support Volunteers to volunteer in our Intermediate Care Unit at Crawley Hospital, where our patients are offered short term recovery and rehabilitation. SCFT’s aim is to keep patients out of hospital where we can and supporting patients to leave hospital.

Come and help make a difference to our patients and staff by helping with a Patient Exercise Group. Help with the set up of the group creating a friendly, supportive and welcoming environment to empower and enable patients to use exercises as part of their recovery. Groups are mornings at 11am or afternoons at 2pm.

• Self-motivated; with an ability to think on your feet and work

• Punctual and dependable
• Excellent communication and listening skills
• Interest in rehabilitation
• Able to take instructions from others
• Keen to motivate and help others
