Gardener

St Catherine's Hospice

Our gardens and grounds offer a peaceful setting for patients, families and visitors alike, with colourful flower beds, water features and secluded patios for patients to enjoy. You'll be part of a small team helping to keep these gardens in tip-top shape for everyone to enjoy.

What you will be doing:

  • Planting
  • Regular watering and garden beds and pots
  • Deadheading and removing weeds from gardens beds, paved areas etc
  • Tidying all areas – sweeping leaves, litter-picking etc 

What skills do I need?

  • Interest in gardening
  • Someone who enjoys being part of a team
  • Being able to demonstrate strong emotional resilience (For patient facing roles)
  • Commitment to undertake any training required for the role including a mixture of face-to-face training and e-learning as required for the role
