Dementia Carer group Assistant – Host/Tech Support via Zoom

Carers Support West Sussex

The role and the activities involved are:

You would be required to join the session just before the group starts. This will give you a chance to catch-up with the facilitator and be ready for the attendees starting to log on.

As each attendee logs on admit into the session.

Deal with any access issues such as people not being on mute, needing to be renamed etc

At end of meeting stay on to debrief, making sure all attendees have left.


What skills do I need?

• understanding of confidentiality and GDPR

• good IT skills and able to use online systems including Zoom

• attention to detail and accuracy

• sensitive and caring manner

• able to manage personal boundaries when engaging with others

• good communicator and well organsied

Timings and commitment: We deliver one group per month. Each group lasts for 1.5hours, plus 10 mins either side for preparation and debrief. 10.15 - 12.15pm 2nd Thursday of the month
