Carer Coaching: Review Support Volunteer | Home based

Carers Support West Sussex

Role Summary:

As a Review Support volunteer with Carers Support West Sussex, you'll assist the Carer Coaching Team by reaching out to carers who have finished their six one-on-one coaching sessions with us. Collaborating with the Carer Coach Coordinator, you'll get in touch with these carers 3 to 6 months after their coaching to collect their feedback and insights.

What difference will you make?

This position will support carers in sustaining the positive transformations that coaching may have facilitated, while also ensuring their opinions are heard and appreciated. These reviews serve as a vital resource for the design and development of future services, supplying essential data for the project update reports to the Big Lottery Community Fund. This ensures ongoing support for Carer Coaching programs.

Responsibilities:

• Reaching Out to Carers: Utilise a standardized script when contacting Carers through phone or email, ensuring that it's done within the established timeframes.

• Record Keeping: Document all direct interactions with Carers and any feedback in our database. Safeguarding Alerts: Inform the team of any potential safeguarding issues that may arise.

• Support Requests: Notify the team of any Carer who has asked for additional assistance related to their caregiving responsibilities.

• Encouragement: Inspire Carers to maintain their momentum and foster ongoing positive changes.

• Team Collaboration: Participate in meetings to exchange insights, discuss challenges, and celebrate our achievements together.
