Standen is an Arts and Crafts inspired family house nestled in the Sussex countryside near East Grinstead designed by Philip Webb and decorated with beautiful William Morris wallpapers. Family really is at the heart of Standen, seen both through the interpretation about the Beales in the house and garden and in the way we work together today.
Our aim is to give every visitor a great day out. Car Park Assistants provide a helpful and friendly service to ensure an enjoyable, memorable and positive experience for each visitor especially when the property is very busy - weekends and school holiday
• Making visitors feel welcome when they arrive and responding to the different needs of different people.
• Helping to set up the car park for busy days and litter picking as necessary.
• Helping to direct cars into the overflow car park when in use.
• Maintain a professional appearance for Standen car park through regular checks.
• Ensure that visitors park appropriately maximising the number of spaces.
• Knowing your way around the property, so that you can give directions and perhaps share a few of your own stories.
• Supporting Welcome staff with management of cars on the drive on busy days.
